چکیده

We study the problem of the quantization of the massive charged Dirac field on a naked Reissner-Nordström background. We show that the introduction of an anomalous magnetic moment for the electron field allows a well–defined quantum theory for the one-particle Dirac Hamiltonian, because no boundary condition on the singularity is required. This means that wouldbe higher order corrections can play an essential role in determining physics on the naked Reissner-Nordström background and that a non-perturbative approach is required. Moreover, we show that bound states for the Dirac equation are allowed. Various aspects of the physical picture emerging from our study are also discussed, such as the possibility to obtain exotic atomic systems, the formation of black holes by electronic capture and some interesting consistency problems involving quantum gravity. Non-Relativistic Limit of Neutron Beta-Decay Cross-Section in the Presence of Strong Magnetic Field

One of the most important reactions of the URCA that lead to the cooling of a neutron star, is neutron beta-decay ( ). In this research, the energy spectra and wave functions of massive fermions taking into account the Anomalous Magnetic Moment (AMM) in the presence of a strong changed magnetic field are calculated. For this purpose, the Dirac-Pauli equation for charged and neutral fermions is ...

Supermassive Black Hole at the Galactic Center ∗

We derive an analytical expression of a shadow size as a function of a charge in the Reissner – Nordström (RN) metric. Using the derived expression we consider shadows for negative tidal charges and charges corresponding to naked singularities q = Q/M > 1, where Q and M are black hole charge and mass, respectively. An introduction of a negative tidal charge q can describes black hole solutions ...

Similarities Between Classical Timelike Geodesics in a Naked Reissner-Nordstrom Singularity Background and the Behaviour of Electrons in Quantum Theory

It is generally assumed that naked singularities must be physically excluded, as they could otherwise introduce unpredictable influences in their future null cones. Considering geodesics for a naked Reissner-Nordstrom singularity, it is found that the singularity is effectively clothed by its repulsive nature. Regarding electron as naked singularity, the size of the clothed singularity (electro...

A classical instability of Reissner-Nordström solutions and the fate of magnetically charged black holes.

Working in the context of spontaneously broken gauge theories, we show that the magnetically charged Reissner-Nordström solution develops a classical instability if the horizon is sufficiently small. This instability has significant implications for the evolution of a magnetically charged black hole. In particular, it leads to the possibility that such a hole could evaporate completely, leaving...

0 Maximal Acceleration Effects in Reissner - Nordström Space

The dynamics of a relativistic particle in a Reissner-Nordström background is studied using Caianiello model with maximal acceleration. The behaviour of the particle, embedded in a new effective geometry, changes with respect to the classical scenario because of the formation of repulsive potential barriers near the horizon. Black hole formation by accretion of massive particles is not therefor...
